23 Apr 3 mistakes that should be avoided while using jQuery
- Using an old version of jQuery – When a new version is launched for any software or programming tool, it is meant to be better. A higher version is always quick, updated and free of errors as compared to previous version. The latest version of jQuery is 1.7.2.
- Not checking the plug-ins before integrating them to your website – See to it whether your tooltip plug-in is not bigger in size. If it is bigger, there is some error. Debug it. Check for the performance of the plug-in too. Also, check whether the plug-in you are using is compatible with all the major browsers. Do not forget the mobile compatibility too.
- Using jQuery for server side tasks – You should check everything on server task. Don’t depend on jQuery for things like masking and validating. See to it that jQuery works even when JS is disabled.
