1. Create Secure Passwords
You can always remove the usernames which are suspicious and which seem to hack your WordPress blogs. But it is not enough to delete the usernames. You must have a strong password. A strong password is the one which is made up of both the numbers and alphabets. Keep changing your password frequently.
2. Delete the default admin user
You should remove the default admin user as soon as the installation is complete. This step will prevent the hackers to enter your website/blog.
3. Hide the WordPress version you are using
If the hacker knows your WordPress version, he can easily know the functions and hack them accordingly. Thus, hide it.
4. Keep updating
You must keep updating your WordPress version. Each new version has developed features which reduce the chances of hacking every time.
