A responsive website designis defined as a website design which has or possesses the technological features which prioritizes the visitor and responds to the visitor’s preferences/demands. It means that if a person changes his phone from iphone to Samsung tab, he must be able to surf the required website in the same manner i.e. the website should be flexible and should adjust with all the gadgets that a user uses. Flexibility and adjustment should be in terms of screen resolution, visibility of web content, scripting, sizes of images etc.

Following are the 3 main elements of a Response Website Design –

1. Media queries – Media queries is associated with the colour of the website, the layout of the website and the screen resolution for the website. All these depend upon and vary according to the browser size of the gadget.
